Donald Trump just lost

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s attempt to get out of his upcoming indictment in Georgia isn’t going so well That’s because a Judge in Fulton County has rejected Trump’s plea to block the investigation. Oh, dear. Not good news for Donald Trump.

The Judge also went a bit further than just this denial. He issued a scathing rebuke to Trump. The Judge wrote that Trump’s claims are “insufficient” or “speculative and unrealized.” And then the Judge likened Trump to Rumpelstiltskin. That was my favorite part of the Judge’s decision.

“And for some,” the Judge wrote, “Being the subject of a criminal investigation can, a la Rumpelstiltskin, be turned into golden political capital, making it seem more providential than problematic.”

Ouch! It’s a good analogy, though it can’t have made Trump happy. That’s provided he even knows who Rumpelstiltskin is. (Rumpelstiltskin, he’s bad, a very bad man, you know he hates Trump, he hates this country.)

Anyway, if Trump had any hope of snowing the Judge into agreeing to block the investigation, he was in for a shock. This Judge was not impressed with Trump’s line of bullshit. In fact, like many who came before him, he seemed utterly repulsed by what Trump was asking for.

The bottom line is there IS no way to stop the hands of fate from coming for Donald Trump. And in Georgia, those hands are coming closer, reaching out to pull the traitor into accepting responsibility. And no matter what Donald Trump does or how many motions he files, or how much bullshit drips from his traitorous mouth, it really doesn’t matter.

Somewhere during the next three weeks or so, Trump will be indicted yet again. He will be indicted, likely twice (at least), and as time runs out for him, his requests are getting sillier and sillier. But there is no escape. There is no escape, finally and forever, for the worst man in the world at all.
