Donald Trump just keeps digging himself a deeper hole

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s legal strategy is going so poorly, it’s prompted a judge to publicly reveal that the Feds found dozens of empty classified document folders in his home. At this rate Trump is going to send himself to prison while the DOJ stands there laughing at how easy Trump is making this.

In all seriousness, it’s almost surreal just how badly Trump is screwing this up – not only for himself, but for his Republican Party. The DOJ clearly has Trump nailed to the wall, and will end up getting a conviction against him long before he can try to put himself into any sort of legitimate 2024 context. He’s done. Finished. His life is over. Anyone paying close attention knows that already.

But the point is, not everyone does pay close attention. Most mainstream Americans, who have never liked Trump but have never been quite sure whether to believe it when they hear about just how evil he supposedly is, are still waiting for a plain as day sign of Trump’s guilt. But now, instead of waiting for Trump’s indictment and arrest before making that call, a lot of these folks are going to look at what these court filings are pushing into the headlines, and decide right now that Trump is indeed a criminal.

The more nonsense filings Trump makes in court right now, the more quickly the details of the DOJ’s criminal case against him will be publicly released as a result. Trump’s pointless request for a special master in the wrong jurisdiction has resulted in the public finding out that the Feds found empty classified document folders all over his home office. These kinds of headlines not only help finish off Trump’s political relevance more quickly, but also make life harder for Republican candidates running in midterm elections.
