Donald Trump just fired three of his own people
Ever since the Signalgate scandal first broke, it was clear that Donald Trump was inevitably going to have to scapegoat and fire somebody. The media and the public don’t let go of scandals this big until heads have rolled. Of course Trump has instead been letting the scandal drag on, preferring to do nothing, because he no longer seems capable of doing anything. But today Trump finally has belatedly fired three of his own people – and of course he did it in bizarre fashion.
Trump fired three National Security Council members today after a meeting in which Laura Loomer – yes that Laura Loomer – told him to do so, according to CNN. So instead of promptly ousting Pete Hegseth or Mike Waltz, which might have made the scandal go away quickly, Trump has waited weeks to fire three nobodies at the behest of a completely crazy person.
This is just so typical at this point. Donald Trump’s decision making has always been highly questionable. But now he’s making decisions in the stupidest, most incoherent, and most insane way possible. There really is nothing left of this guy’s brain.
