Donald Trump just can’t bring himself to do it
Mr. Donald convicted felon Trump has rejected calls for another debate after the Walz/Vance debate. Many pundits were guessing Trump would change his mind. This writer did not think that he would. Traumatic events. Donald Trump’s failure at that stage with Harris must have been one of the most significant failures in his life. After all — he was shown up by a WOMAN. Not only that -a woman of color. He was shamed and humiliated and made to look like a fool. So why would felon want to do it all over again?
So yes, Trump has said he “is not looking to do it again.” Given this refusal AND given his withdrawal from the Sixty Minutes interview, this writer can come to no other conclusion than the fact that Donald Trump is shitting bricks. That is the most polite way of saying — he’s scared out of his melting-down non-mind.
After all, what could he say that would do him any good? Nothing. Donald Trump, the malignant narcissist that he is, would perhaps prefer to live in his world—a world of intense fantasy—a world where the American people need him, where he comes in to save the day again and again and again.
Only that is an alternate universe. In reality, nobody – but NOBODY needs or wants the felon except for Maga scum. Donald Trump’s refusal to participate in another debate and AND his cancellation of the sixty-minutes interview are significant election events that tell us a lot. What they tell us is that Trump is losing.
HE CAN’T LOOK THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN THE EYE. He can’t get up on that stage, which would serve as a lie detector, were he to do it, and said lie detector would give his bullshit away again and again and again. Same for Sixty Minutes. So, Trump, liar that he is must content himself with watching from the sidelines and comforting himself with non-facts and alternative realities. What a sad way to exist.
