Donald Trump just belly flopped

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There is a reason why so many people love to take photos. Photographs are pearls of the sea, snapshots in time, moments of love where time stops, leaving only an image that can always bring to life the particular moment where rich and lovely memories are made.

For OTHER people, however, photos can be used as status symbols, highlighting the “look at me” moments they can then flash at their friends and frenemies who did NOT get the honor of having that particular moment in time.

Several of Donald Trump’s donors belong to the second category. At the donor event over the weekend, many donors wanted their picture taken with inmate number P01135809. However, reports are pouring forth that this inmate is not a happy camper at posing with these donors. Why? Because they may want their PICTURES taken with them, but it appears they don’t want their CASH taken BY him.

Oh no! Oh yes! The donors are not coughing up enough money, driving his royal soon-to-be–be prisoner up the wall.

An angry Trump reportedly loudly barked into the crowd that if some missed the photo op, they needed to give more money to make it worth the traitor’s time.

Alas, this announcement did NOT have donors suddenly reaching for their purse strings. “About 400 people” gave around $40,000, is being reported. That’s such a tiny amount.

Trump then repeatedly begged his donors for cash, saying that anyone who had donated at least one million could come up and share the stage with him.

If he expected a mosh-pit of bodies flying toward him he must have been let down. Only a forlorn two people came up on the stage. Two people!

Whining and complaining, Trump is said to be angry that he is not making enough money off his donors. My theory? Trump is a circus act. What I mean by that is the donors came to see him as one would a bizarre weirdo in a cage. It was for the novelty. Perhaps they wanted to have the free food (was there any?) But parting with their hard-earned money?

That’s another story entirely. It looks like this is just another thing that Trump has failed at.
