Donald Trump just admitted it

Donald Trump was never going to be able to lower prices, because that’s not really a thing. If you force prices down you’re triggering deflation, which is how economies and societies collapse. All you can do to fix inflation is to force prices to stop rising so that wages have a chance to catch up – which President Biden already put in place.

But because the entire media spent four years dishonestly blaming Biden for inflation (and pretending prices were still going up even after they leveled off), even as the media did nothing to push back against Trump’s claims that he could magically bring prices down, the dummies in the middle voted for Trump. Now Trump has a problem, which is that he can’t bring prices down.

So now Trump is flat out admitting to Time Magazine that he’s probably not going to be able to lower prices after all. Anyone who understands economics saw this coming. And on the other end of the intelligence spectrum, Trump’s base won’t really care, because their support for him is based in bigotry and psychopathy, not prices. But the dummies in the middle who believed the media are about to be shocked that prices aren’t going to come down by one penny.

We’ll see how long it takes the dummies in the middle to catch on to the fact that prices are never coming down, and that they gave the presidency to an unhinged senile convicted criminal for nothing. It could take awhile. But they’ll catch on eventually. Trump and his party are going to pay mightily in the midterms for having gotten elected on a lie. And we’ll be there to help make sure they lose.
