Donald Trump Jr just stepped in it
Donald Trump’s permanent ban from Twitter means that, if nothing else, he can’t remind the American public what an idiot he is on a daily basis. That’s not the case with Donald Trump Jr, who still has a functioning Twitter account if not a functioning brain.
Donald Trump Jr managed to step in it yet again when he posted this tweet: “First Democrats wanted to “defund the police” and were shocked that crime rates skyrocketed. Now they want to fire thousands of nurses in the midst of a pandemic and can’t comprehend the problems that could create. Democrats are a special kind of stupid. Don’t be a Dem.”
Okay, where do we even start with this self-defeating idiocy? First, the Democrats generally do not want to “defund the police.” Second, Trump Junior is stupidly reminding everyone that crime rates skyrocketed while his incompetent father was President.
Then there’s the reality that in places like Maine, which instituted vaccine mandates on health care professionals awhile ago, only a tiny fraction of them ended up quitting or being fired; most of them simply got vaccinated. So when the supposed “doctor and nurse shortage” ends up not happening, this narrative from people like Donald Trump Jr will only serve to remind everyone that he and his political party are in fact idiots.
