Donald Trump is terrified

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Fear is such an insidious emotion, is it not? And fear is not a friend to many. Fear has a way of quietly swooping in at precisely the wrong moments for some people. And a few of these people have good reason to tremble at the arrival of fear. These people are sometimes at its mercy.

“Tick-Tock” goes the clock on the wall. And for the person who experiences the fear — which can take them over, intruding into every pore — it can be terrifying. Do you think Donald Trump feels fear? According to his former communications director, Alyssa Farah, he does.

Now, this is no guarantee. But given all the news that’s been coming out on a daily — sometimes hourly — basis about him — I’d say fear has settled into the non-soul of the insurrectionist. Farah says that Trump is fearful of the upcoming book by journalist Maggie Haberman — and what it might reveal about him.

Ads if things weren’t bad enough for the insurrectionist But I’m sure it isn’t just this book. Something tells me orange man fears a great deal more than a mere book. Reports are flying. Secrets are being spilled. The clock continues to tick down to — what?

Trump is being accused of mishandling possible classified information. He is being investigated everywhere, it seems. Every day he wakes up and looks into the mirror. What does he see looking back at him? It is the face of a loser. It’s the face of a traitor who has very little left — and stands to lose even more.

He is trapped in his castle of Mar-A-Lago. He is a prisoner in his own skin. And would you not agree the days must go by so slowly for him?

But the clock, ticking down to his destiny, is always there. It won’t be stopped. And it has a message for the Lord of the Lies. The message is to quote the great Jacques Brel — the message is this: “I’ll wait for you.” The fear has hardly even begun its work. And there is nothing Trump can do about it – nothing at all.
