Donald Trump is spitting mad

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is spitting mad. Judge Tanya Chutkan ignored his lawyer’s ridiculous filing and made Jack Smith’s filing public, with redactions of course. Smith still needs to protect witnesses and perhaps some of his evidence, but what is readable is damning for Trump. The way Smith rewrote his case is quite brilliant. He is using many of the same claims, and he started out with Trump’s claim that his actions following the 2020 presidential election were “official conduct.” Smith responds with two words: “Not so.” Smith used many of Trump’s own words against him. For example, he detailed how Trump’s aides tried in vain to get him to do something to stop the violence on January 6. They even deplored him that Mike Pence was in danger. His response, which is contained in the filing, was: “So what?” These are not the utterances of a real president, and his actions were certainly not those of a real president. His rants on Truth Social are also not the behavior of a president, which is one of the many reasons he needs to lose in November.

Trump’s post is utterly ridiculous. He claims that he is being prosecuted because he’s “WINNING.” No, he’s not. He went on to say that Democrats “are desperate to prop up their failing Candidate, Kamala Harris.” He also claimed that this came out “today because JD Vance humiliated Tim Walz last night in the Debate.” That only makes sense to Donald Trump. First, JD Vance did not humiliate Tim Walz. Walz held his own with that shyster. In fact, he continued to throw JD Vance’s lies up into his own face, and where he really got Vance is when he asked him whether Trump lost the 2020 election. Vance just stood there with an evil smile on his face. They all know Trump lost and just don’t want to admit it because they are afraid of angering Trump. Trump also knows that this prosecution was going on long before Vice President Harris even entered the race, so what does it have to do with her? Nothing. Trump is just always looking for a way to debase others. He is the worst thing that ever hit the White House. We need to barricade the doors to ensure he never gets back in.

Many have said all along that Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election were personal and had nothing whatsoever to do with the presidency. That remains true, regardless of the Supreme Court’s ruling. SCOTUS knows it too; this was their way of “passing the buck.” If Chutkan decides that Smith is correct, this prosecution will move forward. Trump can appeal if he’s convicted, but this case will proceed. Pence and others repeatedly told Trump there was no evidence of fraud in the election, but he decided to disregard their advice and instead come up with a criminal scheme to not only defraud millions of voters but to remain in power by force. This isn’t Russia, and it never will be. Harris will be victorious on November 5, and hopefully, Trump will keep his promise to leave the country. Donate now
