Donald Trump negligently screwed up the hurricane response in Puerto Rico so badly, three thousand Americans ended up dying in its aftermath – prompting Trump to lie about the death toll in the hope of covering his tracks. In the time since, the U.S. has had a few more major hurricanes, but none of them were widely catastrophic – until now.

So how is Trump handling the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Michael in the Florida panhandle? Apparently, he’s not handling it at all. Respected reporter Brian Karem, perhaps best known for shouting down Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ lies in the White House briefing room, has just posted a startling new piece of information about the hurricane response.

Here’s what Karem tweeted a few hours ago: “From a very good source in FL who helped with Puerto Rican relief efforts. Former military in Gulf War. Talking about the devestation from Hurricane Michael:No FEMA. No National Guard. Total destruction. No Help.”

So why isn’t the Trump regime even bothering to send a proper response? That may start at the top. Donald Trump is barely even talking about the hurricane, and he’s instead spending his time giving incoherent speeches at campaign rallies. Meanwhile, Americans are dying in the hurricane aftermath; CNN says the death toll is up to seventeen.
