Donald Trump is running scared now
Innocent people accused of doing something illegal do not need to take the Fifth. This is because they have nothing to hide. They’re innocent. And many agree. Want to know who, at one time, agreed? Donald J. Trump. Apparently, the little psychopath no longer feels that way. Because at his deposition in the Letitia James civil investigation, Trump refused to answer any questions at all.
He invoked the Fifth. Now, of course, Trump, being a habitual liar, is denying he took the Fifth because he’s guilty. Trump insisted that the REAL reason for not talking is because of a “witch hunt” perpetuated by – well – everybody that left him no choice.
Trump’s victim mentality is part of his malignant narcissism. Narcissists ALWAYS believe they’re being persecuted. They’re delusions of grandeur come popping out whenever they’re accused of something, even if they are, in fact, guilty as sin.
And in my opinion — and in the opinion of most sane people — Trump IS guilty as sin. He wears his guilt openly, coming up with ridiculous reasons to never take responsibility for anything.
Trump is also a rampant “injustice collector.” I did not invent that term. It is popular in psychology. Injustice collectors are just that. The way some collect stamps, coins, or rocks, these people gather injustices.
Everything happens TO them.
Only it doesn’t. If Trump were right in his delusions of persecution, that would mean:
The DOJ was out to get him.
The FBI was out to get him.
The Democrats were out to get him.
All Republicans who don’t agree with him on everything are out to get him.
The media is out to get him.
The Judge who signed off on the search of Mart-a-Lago is out to get him.
The world is out to get him.
The truth is nobody is out to get Trump except Justice.
If the man would adhere to the rule of law, he’d be fine.
But of course, he can’t. That, again, is due to Trump’s narcissism. He thinks the law does not apply to him because he’s “special.” Despite what many in Maga-land say, Trump is not a complex creature. He’s singing a song as old as can be. It’s the same old song and dance, same shit, different day.
