Donald Trump is never living down this Laura Loomer thing

Being part of a cult often leads to gross injury and even death. One only has to look back at history to know that. Cults are also ALWAYS full of grievances. It’s how they retain their power over their subjects. They are often testing the boundaries, seeing how far they can go. And the Trump cult has gone pretty far.
On April 2, conspiracy monger Laura Loomer visited with Donald Trump. Loomer, in case you’re not familiar with her, is a grade-A certified nut job who has made hateful statements in the past, including suggesting 9/11 was an inside job. So, this visit took place, and according to several reporters, including Maggie Haberman the visit was a stunner.
Loomer reportedly told Trump certain National Security Council staff were disloyal and needed to be fired. She deemed them disloyal. Now, one thing you need to know — cultists LOVE the term disloyal. Alleged disloyalty is a cult’s poison pill, and when someone drinks it, bad, bad things can happen.
Even Trump, Mr. The cult leader himself is not impervious to even more extremists. And now it has come to pass. Trump has fired several of these officials. Six have been fired, at the time of this writing. People are said to be horrified. They consider her toxic. Sources say Loomer came armed with a list of those she deemed disloyal to Mr. Trump.
Throughout history, we’ve seen cults in action. They hurt, they damage. They do irreparable harm to those IN the cults ,and the families of such people. But THIS cult has the capability to do irreparable damage to the United States of America.
Picture a luscious piece of corn silk, a soft, creamy, yellow piece of corn silk. Then picture it being CRUSHED, trampled on, and discarded. Every time something like this happens — every time a person of good character who has done nothing wrong falls victim to the insidiousness of the cult, another norm is crushed.
Even Republicans are said to be horrified at what Trump just did. And some are saying — he plans to fire even more people. It IS possible, you know, for someone to be the HEAD of a cult but ALSO be influenced by one’s own cult members with even darker, more monstrous beliefs. This is precisely what has happened here.
