Donald Trump is losing the money war

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s just no good. Everything Donald Trump touches turns to shit. And that includes many of his preferred candidates running for office. It is being reported that many candidates the Lord of the Lies is backing have a bit of a problem. Said problem is that they can’t seem to raise enough money that they will need to be competitive.

This is happening all over the country as Trump’s candidates start to crater. And the candidates that Trump hates appear to be winning the money war. Take Liz Cheney, for instance. She’s quadrupled the money raised by her competitor for fourth-quarter fundraising.

You see, Trump may not like Cheney, but it appears others do — very much. She raked in $2 million. Murkowski is soaring in fundraising as well. In fact, candidates all over who Trump scorns are coming up with numbers — green numbers.

What is going on? Nothing. This shouldn’t be a surprise. The insurrectionists are in the minority. If they keep going the way they have been, they won’t ever win an election again. One cannot win an election on the platform of “we hate America.” At least one can’t in the middle of the road areas.

Rep. Mo Brooks, a huge fan of insurrectionists, is reportedly fizzling where the mighty green dollar is concerned as well.

Let’s hope it holds. We still have a long way to go, and we have to run as if we’re 50 points behind consistently. But this shows what we already knew — Trump is yesterday’s news. One could wipe the floor on the amount of positive press he gets these days.
