Donald Trump is in freefall

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Mondays are not usually good days for Donald Trump. That’s because most Mondays these days start with bad news for the orange marionette. Lately, it seems that Monday sets the tone for the rest of Trump’s week, which almost always consists of more motions denied, more money he owes, and more of his shitty lawsuits getting tossed.

This Monday was no different. On Monday, 4/8, Trump’s motion to change the venue of his hush money trial heard two words. MOTION DENIED. Yep. Trump lost again. How many times does that make it? Trump’s legal team really wanted the court to postpone the New York trial, arguing that Trump couldn’t get a fair trial there. But the Judge has denied the motion.

The only one who will REALLY be surprised about this is Donald Trump, who seems to think the world revolves around his orange ass. It does not. Look for a meltdown of epic proportions late at night.

Trump is pulling out all the stops to get out of his trial, which is hurling toward him faster than an oncoming train. Again and again, he tries to get rid of the case. Again and again, he loses. It is Trump’s own Groundhog Day. Don’t you think?

Think about it. His every day is now the same:

Wake up.

(Comb hair?? No, probably not.)

Eat something.

Log onto Truth social and scream the day away.

Lose yet another appeal.

It’s like Bill Palmer says. There are no magic wands. At this point, Trump is like pond scum trying to float away from exceptionally large sludge cleaners.

He tried and tried, but there is no way out and nothing left in his bag of sleazy tricks to do except accept the fact that:

1) The trial WILL happen.

And:

2) He will hear the words: “We find the defendant guilty.”
