Donald Trump is drawing his weakest crowd sizes yet
I’ve been saying for nearly a decade that rally crowd size is not a primary indicator of voter turnout. But for just as long, Donald Trump has been using his large crowd sizes as a bragging point. He’s even directly insisted that he couldn’t have lost in 2020 because his rally crowds were larger.
So what to make of the fact that Kamala Harris just drew a crowd of 75,000 at her Washington DC rally? I’m not sure. But I do know that Trump is absolutely bottoming out in terms of shrinking crowd size down the stretch:

This was easily the lightest-attended event I’ve seen of Trump’s rallies in Michigan. His full remarks were about 1 hour, 45 minutes. pic.twitter.com/ynBFBTORfP

Imagine a candidate being in such a tailspin that with three days to go he’s drawing his smallest crowds to date. That’s… something.
