Donald Trump is defeated

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s handlers have him doing a round of interviews this week about all the awful things he’ll do if he takes office. They’re doing is specifically to try to get all of us to take the bait and start focusing on how “dangerously powerful” Trump is and how he’s supposedly going to win, instead of focusing on calling out his weakness and finishing him off.

The good news is that the smart people out there aren’t taking the bait. For instance, House Democrat Robert Garcia is making a point of calling out for being “tired” and “defeated”:

.
Cool, it’s almost like Rep. Garcia is channeling Palmer Report. The reality is that while Trump, the Republicans, and the right wing are unhingedly evil, we don’t get anywhere by “sounding the alarm” about how “dangerously powerful” they are. We defeat them by highlighting their weaknesses, not by helping them portray themselves as powerful.
