Donald Trump is being eaten alive by his own paranoia
Donald Trump is senile. Donald Trump is evil. Donald Trump is narcissistic. Donald Trump is stupid. Donald Trump is powerless. Donald Trump is pathetic. Such A LOT of adjectives in that first paragraph alone! And none of them are complimentary. This is because Donald Trump has not one good characteristic that I can think of.
But we can add another negative one. Paranoid. Donald Trump has melted down on Truth Social again. The object of his ire? Fox non-news. In an angry rant on his failing social media site, Trump accused Fox of “trying to make Nikki Haley happen” as a political candidate.
“They’re pushing birdbrain,” Trump wrote, referring to Haley.
“They just haven’t learned, and probably they never will.”
“It’s just not happening.”
I agree that Haley is not happening. But Trump’s paranoia is spinning out of control. Trump has also in recent days urged the republican party to stop airing debates featuring his competitors. He appears outraged that they are still going on, and indeed, one of them is coming soon.
Now, please keep in mind that Haley is not doing particularly well. She had a tiny smidgeon of an uptick and the media, desperate for a horse-race, reported on that like she was at 50 percent. It is not true. Haley has yet to even reach FIFTEEN percent. She is a very weak candidate.
So, for that matter, are ALL the Republican contenders. But this gives something away. It shows Trump is feeling jealous and threatened by his competitors. It also shows Trump needs all the attention focused on him. I imagine that, on some level, Trump secretly is eating his heart out that he doesn’t get to debate.
Narcissists always want to be involved in everything. But the fact is, Chris Christie, who has come out strong in recent days against the Donald, is correct. Donald Trump is afraid to debate. There is simply no other reason for his absence on that stage. He probably knows he can’t answer questions. Were he to debate, the American people would ALSO get a look at his ongoing mental state and idiocy.
I imagine that for Trump, it must be like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; here, he is watching his Republican competitors, all with golden tickets, debate and answer questions, but he, Trump, must sit on the sidelines.
I would look for more Trump tantrums about his competitors, and it does not matter whether any of them actually have a chance to win. For Trump, jealousy is jealousy, envy is envy, and rage is rage — no matter who that rage might be directed at.
