Donald Trump is angry

It’s just no good. Whatever Turmp does, wherever he goes, everything rapidly turns to shit for him. His tariff war, which is on some days off other days, is having serious ramifications for our economy, as Federal Reserve Chair Jeremy Powell soberly announced on Wednesday. The economy, once so bright, so buoyant, and so promising, is rapidly failing due solely to the actions of Mr. Trump.
So, is Trump trying to fix the issue? Of course not! What Donald Trump is choosing to do instead is lash out at Powell for telling the truth because, of course, he is. “Powell’s termination cannot come fast enough!” Lashing out like a psychotic infant, Trump appeared enraged, not by the flailing economy, you understand, not by the millions of people affected by all of this. Not , because he ruined our economy in a few months. No, none of that. Instead, Mr. Trump seems enflamed with rage at Powell for telling the American people all about it.
What, did Trump think Powell would lie and come out beaming saying: “Everything’s wonderful.” Trump likely DID expect that. After all, Tur has strong-armed many a sycophantic Republican into lying for him, so why not the Fed Chair?
But the bottom line is nobody — but nobody can hide what is going on. This whole situation underscores the power of making choices. When one makes a bad choice, a cataclysmic choice — its ramifications can be felt for years.
Trump, alone in his cocoon of utter denial, has nobody to blame for this but himself. So many people tried their best to tell him, to warn him of the imminent danger coming closer by the day, waiting to suck his rotting presidency up in it. But Trump, as usual, listens to nobody but himself.
But with Donald Trump, the lights may be on, but nobody’s been home for years. When someone is bent on destroying others — and themselves – there is really very little others can do to stop their journeys of destruction. For Trump now he is left to do what he does best — rage, lash out, call names, and of course blame everyone but the one person whose fault it is, the person in the mirror — himself.
