Donald Trump holds insane press conference, whines about declining rally crowd size

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump held a press conference at his home today, in the hope of changing the narrative in the 2024 election. Trump claimed he’s way ahead in the polls, but in a sign that he knows he’s fallen behind Kamala Harris in the polls, he announced that he’s agreed to debate her. Then things got truly weird.

Trump feebly rambled for a long time about everyone from President Biden to Tim Walz, before he made the mistake of opening it up to questions. Trump was asked about Kamala Harris’ massive rallies, which prompted Trump to begin angrily ranting about how he’s supposedly drawing twenty times as many people as she is.

Trump is still ranting (he just said “What a stupid question” to a reporter), but it’s clear why his people tried to pull him off the campaign trail this past week. Now that he’s losing in the polls and losing in terms of crowd size, he’s losing what little was left of his mind. Trump is trying to “take control” of his campaign by going out there for this press conference, but all it’s doing is giving away how panicked he is.
