Donald Trump has unhinged meltdown about his own downfall, gives away that it’s truly over for him
Donald Trump’s social media posts over the past few days have provided real time insight into the complete collapse of his mind. He’s been threatening prosecutors, intimidating witnesses, attacking the trial judge, and doing everything he can possibly think of to make a mess for himself. It’s as if he’s concluded that it’s all over for him, and he’s decided to force the issue so he can hurry up and get his downfall over with.
To that end, Trump made the remarkable move on Sunday evening of sharing a Truth Social post from right wing loon James Woods. In that post, Woods lays out a scenario in which Trump is convicted on all charges, “millions of Americans will feel deprived of their candidate” and “will be in a civil war frame of mind.”
The “civil war” part of the post has been getting the most attention, for obvious reasons. But there absolutely 100% will not be a civil war upon Trump’s downfall. Trump’s base is so tired and worn down, he couldn’t even motivate any of them to turn out to protest his arrests and arraignments. But it’s the other part of the post that’s revealing.
Look at these words again. The post Trump shared points out that if Trump is convicted on all charges, his supporters will “feel deprived of their candidate.” This is an acknowledgement that if Trump is convicted, he’s not going to then turn around and magically be a viable participant in the 2024 election. He’ll be finished in politics and in life, and he’ll simply rot in prison.
Trump has been indirectly acknowledging through projection for awhile now that he knows it’s all over for him. But this post he shared from James Woods is coming a lot closer to a direct acknowledgment from Trump that he knows it’s all over for him. He’s now flat out admitting that it’s over for him if he’s convicted. And since he’ll absolutely be convicted, it’s already over for him.
No wonder Trump has begun lashing out in such psychotic and self destructive fashion. He now considers his life to be over. He knows he’s going to be convicted. He knows he’s going to lose everything. He knows he’s going to spend the rest of his life in prison. He knows it’s a done deal and just a matter of time. And his recent behavior is an attempt at prompting the legal system to go ahead and lock him up now, since he’s going to get locked up soon enough anyway.
