Donald Trump has unhinged all caps meltdown after it sinks in for him that Jack Smith has him nailed
Here’s the thing about Donald Trump these days that doesn’t get talked about much. As his criminal justice system situation continues to get worse, he’s been increasingly relying on delusional hope in order to convince himself that he’ll magically be rescued from it all. You can see it right there in his social media posts.
That’s why it’s a big deal that Trump’s long running delusional hope for the Durham probe has come crashing down. The probe ended without magically exonerating Trump, or magically clearing the way for him to beat the charges that DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith is about to hit him with.
That seems to have sunk in for Trump tonight, because he’s now having an absolutely bonkers all caps meltdown, frantically railing against what Jack Smith is about to do to him. It starts off with “JACK SMITH AND THE SPECIAL PERSECUTORS OFFICE ARE PLAYING THE SAME GAMES WITH ELECTION INTERFERENCE AND FAKE PROSECUTIONS AS JAMES COMEY” and then just gets more whacked out from there.
Donald Trump knows he’s in deep trouble, and that it’s going to end with him in prison, or he wouldn’t be talking like this. If he thought the Jack Smith probe were magically going to go away, or if he thought he could magically delay his DOJ criminal trial until after the election, it seems to have finally hit him that these aren’t real things.
