Donald Trump has unhinged all caps meltdown about Jack Smith indictment
Yesterday Donald Trump went on a Truth Social meltdown about how President Joe Biden should be charged under the “Insurrection Act” when he appeared to mean “Espionage Act.” The Freudian slip that has been widely interpreted as Trump having been notified that he’s getting indicted on insurrection-related charges by DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith.
Even as we wait to see if Smith is indeed indicting Trump again this upcoming week, Trump keeps ramping up his hysterics. Today he went on a surreal all caps bender insisting that Jack Smith’s probe is “THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME” and that Smith is guilty of “PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!!!”
Well okay then. Trump is just going to keep doing this, isn’t he? He’s dropping one increasingly transparent hint after another that he expects Jack Smith to criminally indict him again this upcoming week.
At this point the only question may be whether Donald Trump is basing this on the same publicly visible clues that the rest of us have been seeing, or whether Jack Smith has indeed informed Trump and his attorneys that Trump is getting indicted again. Stay tuned. There’s obviously more to this story, and at this point we’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
