Donald Trump’s Truth Social never went anywhere as a social network, nor did anyone expect it to. But since his indictments began, Truth Social has offered a window into Trump’s increasingly shattered psychology.
For instance, this morning Trump shared an ally’s rant which started with “They want Trump to die in prison.” Trump also shared another rant about how Trump is facing “100 year charges” in prison.
With his federal criminal trial date now tentatively set for August 14th, 2023, perhaps it’s sinking in for Donald Trump that he really is going to be tried, convicted, and sentenced to prison long before we get to any election that could magically save him. Trump is giving away what he knows it’s over for him and that he’s panicked.
