Donald Trump has no idea what he’s even trying to say during disheveled courthouse appearance

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

After having spent yesterday complaining about golf and talking about whether he’d rather get electrocuted or eaten by a shark (this really happened), Donald Trump showed up for the start of his New York civil fraud trial today. But he looked like absolute crap at the courthouse, with his hair disheveled and his bronzer off kilter. He looked like someone who had been up all night worrying, and then forgot how to get himself ready this morning.

Unfortunately for Trump, he sounded like even more a goner than he looked. During a break he spoke to the TV cameras, making the false claim that the judge in this case is holding the trial in defiance of an appeals court ruling. In reality the appeals court ruled last week that this trial should take place. But Trump is so spun around and confused, he appears to believe the appeals court ruled in his favor when it ruled against him.

Donald Trump sounds more incoherently senile every time he speaks in public. And today he looks like he’s ready for the scrap heap. Trump is collapsing so badly under the pressure that he’s now coming off as half senile and half dead – and we haven’t even reached his criminal trials yet.
