Donald Trump has multiple senile incidents during failed attempt at giving a speech

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

One of the most jarring (and least talked about) aspects of Donald Trump’s senility is that he increasingly doesn’t seem to have any real relationship with the passage of time, or what the current year or decade is. His failing mind seems to jump around to whatever timeframe he can remember at any given time.

Trump often thinks Barack Obama is still President. He’s made other remarks which suggest that he thinks the nineties are the current decade, or that he’s still in the era where he was doing the Apprentice.

Now Trump has made two bizarre remarks in the same failed attempt at giving a speech, both of which suggest that he has no idea what the current year is, and no idea what years he was in office. First Trump seemed to think he was in office all the way back in 2014:

.
Then Trump seemed to think he was still in office during the course of 2021:

Donald Trump seems to have fully lost his relationship with time. This often tends to happen with people who have worsening dementia. As they lose larger and larger chunks of their own past, they tend to think that things happened in whatever timeframe they can still remember. Trump is doing this more and more frequently each time he opens his mouth.
