Donald Trump keeps falling asleep during his own criminal trial, in a stark reminder that he’s too far gone cognitively to know what’s going on or remember where he’s at or why she should pay attention. The media is finally starting to make a story of this, and now Trump is melting down about it.
Trump posted this bizarre rant to Truth Social during a break in the trial: “Contrary to the FAKE NEWS MEDIA, I don’t fall asleep during the Crooked D.A.’s Witch Hunt, especially not today. I simply close my beautiful blue eyes, sometimes, listen intensely, and take it ALL in!!!”
This is the kind of thing that sounds like it can’t be real and was made up by someone. But we confirmed that this post did in fact appear directly on Trump’s Truth Social account.
So now we’re at a point of Trump’s cognitive decline where he’s going on a bender about how beautiful his own eyes are. He’s totally senile at this point. This is also a huge mistake, because it’ll just prompt the media to put more attention on the fact that Trump keeps falling asleep.
