It’s bad enough that Donald Trump conspired with the Kremlin to rig the 2016 presidential election in his favor. In fact it was treason – and half of his henchmen from that scandal are now convicted felons as a result. This week Trump fired his own Director of National Intelligence for daring to admit that Russia is trying rig the 2020 election for him.

Then the media blew open the other half of the scandal today, when it exposed that Russia is trying to rig the 2020 Democratic primary for Bernie Sanders, because Bernie would be the easiest opponent for Donald Trump to defeat in the general election. Sinister plots like this only tend to work if the general public doesn’t know about them, which is how Trump and Russia got away with their 2016 antics. But now that the Trump-Russia 2020 scandal is blowing up before the election, it’s going to end up being more of a hindrance to Trump than a help. He seems to know it, too.

Donald Trump can’t even seem to make up his mind tonight whether he wants to falsely accuse the Democrats of making up the Kremlin story about Bernie Sanders, or if he wants to accuse Bernie Sanders of actually being a Kremlin puppet. Just how incoherent is Trump’s meltdown tonight? He tweeted “MSDNC (Comcast Slime)” with no possible context. Then he started posting retweets about Bernie’s honeymoon in Russia. Then he retweeted this image:

Stupid Trump. He wasn’t supposed to start attacking Bernie Sanders until after Russia finished rigging the Democratic nomination for Bernie. But now that the entire Trump-Russia 2020 plot has been blown up, Donald Trump doesn’t seem to be sure what he’s supposed to be tweeting. We suspect he’ll have to touch base with Putin for new instructions soon. Until then he’s malfunctioning on every level.
