Donald Trump has late night meltdown after even Fox News admits he’s guilty

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. The simplistic view of cable news is that Fox News is going to defend Donald Trump no matter what, because he’s right wing and they’re right wing and their audience is right wing. But in the real world, things work differently than that.

Sure, Fox wants to side with Trump as often as it can get away with doing so. But at this point Trump is looking so glaringly guilty in his criminal trial that even the average Fox News viewer can see it. Accordingly, Fox has to at least partially play into Trump’s guilt, in order to retain relative credibility with its audience.

Now that some Fox News personalities are indeed spelling out why Trump is guilty, Trump is showing a fit about it. He just had a late night meltdown on social media, angrily demanding that Eric Shawn of Fox News “spend a little time reading” the words written by Fox’s resident Trump butt-kisser Gregg Jarrett.

What’s embarrassing for Trump is that on a day when he found out he’s one false word from going to jail, Trump is still spending his time watching cable news all night in the hope of hearing someone say something that might give him hope. And now that Fox News is starting to admit he’s going down, he’s ranting about how one Fox clown should say things more similar to another Fox clown. This is just sad. It shows just how far gone Trump is.
