Donald Trump has insanely delusional all caps meltdown after he gives up testifying in New York civil fraud trial
Days ago, Donald Trump’s attorneys leaked to the media that they were afraid of what he might end up saying when he took the stand in his own defense in his New York civil fraud trial.
Today Trump announced that he won’t be testifying after all. It was a sign that his attorneys convinced him not to testify. Now he’s melting down on social media, in a sign of just how suggestible he’s become.
Trump now claims that the prosecution’s presentation was a “TOTAL BREAKDOWN, A NON-RECOVERABLE PERRY MASON MOMENT. THAT ALONE ENDS THIS BIDEN DRIVEN WITCH HUNT.” Uh, so Trump’s lawyers have convinced him that he’s going to win this trial? That’s rich. Or poor, actually, given that this verdict is going to wipe Trump out financially. But it looks like Trump’s handlers really have convinced him not to testify by telling him that he’s already won the case.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens when Trump does lose the trial. Will his handlers then try to convince him that he didn’t actually lose? Will they try to distract him as his assets are sold off? Trump is so far gone cognitively, it doesn’t seem to take much to totally snow him these days. It’s possible that Trump will simply believe that he won the trial, even after he loses it.
