Donald Trump has completely unhinged meltdown about his Fulton County arrest

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Yesterday Donald Trump’s treasonous lawyer John Eastman surrendered himself for arrest in Fulton County. Today Trump’s other treasonous lawyer Rudy Giuliani is expected to surrender himself for arrest. That leaves Trump himself, the biggest criminal in American history, to surrender as well.

Trump now says he’s surrendering himself for arrest on Thursday afternoon. Why this particular timeframe? Who knows. If nothing else it shows that the man simply has no strategy. The “Trump is still three steps ahead of us” crowd was certain that he’d surrender himself in a timeframe that would drown out all coverage of Wednesday’s Republican debate. But Trump’s choice of Thursday afternoon doesn’t really do that. The guy has no idea what he’s doing. He’s just making one erratic choice after another.

But it’s not Trump’s total lack of a coherent strategy that gives away that he’s finished. It’s that he’s posting utterly unhinged things on social media, like the post he just made early this morning:

“NOBODY HAS EVER FOUGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP. FOR DOING SO, I WILL PROUDLY BE ARRESTED TOMORROW AFTERNOON IN GEORGIA. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!”

This is the kind of hyperbolically defiant gibberish you hear from people who are absolutely certain that it’s over for them. Donald Trump is admitting, rather directly at this point, that he’s knows it’s over.

Trump doesn’t have a plan, or a strategy, or anything approaching hope of success. This is the kind of stuff that a movie villain yells when he’s being dragged away at the end and is trying to sell the idea that he somehow isn’t defeated. But this is the real world. People who reach this point of knowing defeat? They don’t magically bounce back. Trump isn’t just surrendering himself. He’s surrendering all hope.
