Donald Trump has completely senile meltdown about pardons
Donald Trump has gone on some truly senile benders of late. Some of the declarations he’s made have been so surreal that they’ve read like outright parodies. Now Trump is going off the deep end about pardons. More specifically, he’s decided that he can magically undo pardons.
Trump has announced that the pardons that President Joe Biden gave to the January 6th committee are “VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT.” Apparently Trump is still under the impression that his delusional declarations carry more legal weight if he uses caps lock. Trump then went on to announce that everyone who served on the committee is now under unspecified “investigation.”
In any case, Trump is claiming that the pardons don’t count because Biden (supposedly) used an autopen to sign them. This is all so far beyond surreal. Now Trump’s babysitters are going to have to pretend they’re investigating the January 6th committee, just so Trump will believe it’s happening. It’s the latest reminder of just how far gone he is.
