Donald Trump has bonkers meltdown as House Republicans start writing him off as a lost cause

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. If Donald Trump thought that sham House Republican committee probes were going to somehow save him from criminal prosecution, he’s probably figuring out right about now that nothing works that way. And if Trump thought House Republicans were going to run interference for him with a sham impeachment of President Biden, he’s got to be distraught to hear them backing off their impeachment talk today.

It’s more obvious than ever that House Republicans can’t do a thing to stop the destruction of Donald Trump’s life. And in spite of all their rah-rah rhetoric, it’s starting to look like House Republicans aren’t even seriously going to try to help Trump on his way down. Trump finally seems to be figuring this out, and he’s going apoplectic about it.

Trump is whining on social media tonight about how Republicans are refusing to even bother calling for the 25th Amendment to be invoked against President Biden. Again, this is not a thing that could actually happen, and it certainly wouldn’t help Trump in any way. But with Trump’s life now over, he’s reduced to pinning his hopes on every imaginary magical solution that comes along – and he’s very upset that his Republican colleagues who do have futures are refusing to stick their necks out for him. House Republicans can run their mouths all they want. But their actions say they’ve written Trump off as a lost cause.
