Donald Trump has bonkers late night meltdown
It has been the fashion since this world came to exist, that monarchs and dictators, when confronted with the crumbling of their empires, descend into deep spiderwebs of darkness and paranoia. That’s the way it’s always been, and that’s the way it will always be. And we’re seeing that behavior right now with Donald Trump.
Now, Donald Trump is not a dictator, although he would like to be. But he is a failing president who is watching his whole Administration crumble into nothingness. And he showed his terror with a middle-of-the-night meltdown on Thursday. This was a mother lode of a meltdown, one of the worst this writer can remember.
Donald Trump is the villain in his own Edgar Allan Poe story, or at least that’s the way he acted between one and two a.m. on Thursday as he posted his grievances, coming off as jumpy, afraid, paranoid, edgy, and incredibly insane.
Among the things he posted about was about a Judge who has ruled against him in the past. This judge was just assigned ANOTHER Trump case, and Donald Trump doesn’t appear to think it’s a coincidence. He posted that this happening is “statistically impossible.” (This also shows Trump sucks at math, as he sucks at everything.)
I suppose he thinks the whole case is rigged before it even begins. Someone should remind Trump about Judge Cannon being assigned to Jack Smith’s case. You didn’t see Democrats reacting like this.
He also bizarrely called NPR, and PBS, “scams.” Then he proceeded to threaten Europe, ordering them not to help out Canada with tariffs, or he would slap more tariffs on Europe.
I believe that if the world had been awake, between 1 and 2 AM, silently (and with horror) watching this meltdown, his approval ratings would be perhaps around 2%. The signal gate undoubtedly triggered much of this, but not all. His meltdowns have been accumulating like massive piles of junk since he took office, and it looks like they’re not ending anytime soon.
