Donald Trump has apparently given up

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Even as Donald Trump’s campaign is working to try to keep its own staffers from cooperating with the media on what appears to be a major but unknown scandal, Trump himself seems to have simply given up. No really.

Trump had nothing on his campaign schedule over the Labor Day weekend. Now that it’s over, he has nothing on his schedule this week. The next campaign event on his calendar isn’t until Saturday. He’s all but quit campaigning. So has his running mate JD Vance. As of right now, the Trump 2024 “campaign” basically doesn’t exist.

So what’s going on? No one knows… yet. Trump is obviously physically feeble, so he may simply be in too bad of shape to even try to campaign anymore. He’s also so senile, his babysitters may have decided there’s no point in putting him out there just so he can talk about sharks and cannibals. But is it possible that he’s given up campaigning because of whatever story his people are in the process of futilely trying to keep from coming out? One way or the other it’ll come out before long.

Meanwhile Trump’s surrender gives us the opportunity to jump in and try to run up the score. If you live anywhere in the United States, go here and see what Kamala Harris campaign events and opportunities are taking place in your area. Just because Trump is falling apart, it doesn’t mean we can assume he’s going to lose. Let’s go win this!
