Donald Trump has all caps meltdown as economy implodes

Donald Trump has managed to wipe out around 8% of the total US stock market valuation in a day and a half, just by opening his mouth. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped around 1700 points yesterday and it’s down another 1900 points today. This is a catastrophe by any measure. So what’s Trump doing?

He’s screaming in all caps on social media, of course, because that’s all he knows how to do. This time Trump has decided that it’s up to Fed Chair Jerome Powell to fix this mess by arbitrarily cutting interest rates. So Trump has driven us into a de facto recession, and now he wants the Fed Chair to take the steps necessary to pull us out of the recession that Trump just created?

Trump ended his rant by insisting that the Fed Chair “STOP PLAYING POLITICS!” Well what exactly does Trump think he’s doing? This is all politics on his part, and very stupid politics at that. Anyone who’s ever taken an economics class (or a US history class) could tell Trump that these tariffs aren’t going to work.
