Donald Trump has alienated a whole new group of people

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As if Donald Trump wasn’t hated by enough people, he is inspiring rage in a new group of individuals. Families of 9/11 victims. This all has to do with golf. You might be aware of the enormous scandal going on in the golf world. A number of our golfers have signed on to be part of a series of Saudi-financed Golf series and events.

Understandably this has created fury in the golf world from both the PGA and among fans. Many see the golfers who are participating as only doing it for the money. Many have called for these golfers to cancel their participation. But now one of these tournaments is coming to New Jersey — and Donald Trump is hosting it. Such a surprise!

But this has news has encouraged families of 9/11 victims to plead with Trump to cancel the event, which is due to take place at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

But reportedly, Trump “Jumped at the chance” to host this event. Of course, he did — where there is money on the move, a cash-sniffing Trump is usually not far behind. And some of the 9/11 families are asking Trump for a meeting.

Here is what they said: “We simply cannot understand how you could agree to accept money from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s golf league to host their tournament at your gold course and to do so in the shadows of Ground Zero in New Jersey, which lost over 700 residents during the attacks.”

I do feel for the families here. And it would be great were Donald Trump to do the right thing and cancel the event. However, Donald Trump has never done the right thing in his life, and I do not expect him to start now.
