Donald Trump goes on unhinged manic Truth Social posting spree, gives something away
Now that Israel and Hamas are at war with each other, and the Republican House is mired in an absurdly amateurish quest to elect a Speaker, Donald Trump isn’t exactly getting the headlines this week. Throw in the fact that President Joe Biden’s campaign is now actively trolling Trump on his little “Truth Social” private island, and Trump is suddenly playing second fiddle in the attention department in a lot of ways.
That may explain why Trump – or whoever is posting on his behalf on Truth Social at this point – is going completely overboard with things. On Tuesday morning, Trump made roughly fifty posts in the span of a couple hours. Most of them were junk posts, such as rehashing outlier poll numbers that we’ve all already seen, and links to right wing propaganda outlets.
It’s the kind of junk you’d post if you’re just really eager to fill people’s feeds with wall to wall posts, in order to make sure that everything they’re seeing is from you. Are Trump and his handlers really this worried about Truth Social users seeing President Biden’s posts? Or is this just pure panicked stupidity?
