Donald Trump goes on unhinged bender involving the mafia

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is often rightly mocked for not being able to find any better pop culture surrogates than the likes of Kid Rock and Scott Baio. But now Trump is sinking lower. Much lower.

Say what you will about Scott Baio, but we’re pretty sure he at least never murdered anyone. The same can’t be said for Sammy “the bull” Gravano, who was involved in nineteen murders. Naturally, Gravano is now vouching for Trump’s honesty as a businessman. Bizarrely, Trump is now bragging about this on his social media site, posting a video of Gravano vouching for him.

It’s not just that Gravano was a mafia hitman. That’s bad enough. What kind of supposed presidential candidate goes on a bender about how a confessed mafia hitman is vouching for him? The real kicker is that Gravano famously testified against his own boss John Gotti, which helped put Gotti in prison for life. Gotti was the original “Teflon Don” – and he died in prison.

If Donald Trump understood history, he’d know that aligning himself with Sammy “the bull” Gravano isn’t just bad optics given the whole mass murder thing, it’s also a reminder that crime bosses are often sent to prison with the help of their own underlings. In Trump’s case, everyone from Mike Pence to Sidney Powell is lined up to testify against him at his various criminal trials. Trump is going down in the same way that Sammy Gravano’s former boss went down.
