Donald Trump’s much hyped Twitter interview was a disaster by any objective measure. Technical problems kept more than a handful of people from being able to join in. Those who did get to hear the interview ended up mocking Trump mercilessly for how badly he was slurring his words and his seeming admission that he wants to flee the country if he loses the election.

Now Trump is going off the deep end about how badly he was slurring his words, proclaiming this on social media: “Unfortunately, because of the complexity of modern day equipment, and cellphone technology, my voice was, in certain areas, somewhat different and strange.”

Uh, no, sorry, Donald. “Cellphone technology” and “modern day equipment” did not cause you to sound like you were slurring your words. That’s some kind of undisclosed medical issue that Trump is hiding from the public. The real question is when the media is going to start talking about just how feeble of shape Trump is in.
