Donald Trump goes off the deep end after Jack Smith hits him with new criminal charges
Donald Trump’s life of crime runs so deep and wide that he spent the day expecting to be criminally charged in one scandal, and ended up being criminally charged in a different scandal instead. Trump has been hit with a superseding indictment in the Mar-a-Lago Espionage Act case, and let’s just say that he’s not taking it well.
Trump is now insisting that awhile back even “those on the Left” decided that “there goes the case against Trump.” But now Trump is very upset that “they” โ it’s no longer even clear who “they” are โ “got failed prosecutor Deranged Jack Smith, and STRUCK.”
Well okay then. So is Donald Trump acknowledging that he truly thought he was off the legal hook? He thought a Special Counsel was appointed for nothing? Did his lawyers tell him he wasn’t going to get indicted, or did he just not believe them when they told him the ugly truth? Is this why his lawyers keep quitting?
You’d think by now that Trump would no longer be wasting time expressing surprise and disbelief at getting criminally indicted. At this point he has more than seventy felony charges against him, across multiple jurisdictions. Is he also going to act surprised when Jack Smith indicts him days or hours from now for January 6th? What about when Fani Willis indicts him in the next week or two? Just how broken is Trump’s brain? In any case, the one thing we know is that he’s just going to keep getting hit with more and more charges โ and then he’ll go on trial and go to prison.
