Donald Trump goes completely off the deep end about what’s happening to him right now

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The stock market plummeted again today, and it’s becoming clear that Trump has no magic wand for keeping the Obama economy intact. The coronavirus is growing worse in the United States, and it’s becoming more clear that the Trump regime has botched the handling of the outbreak. Trump’s 2020 prospects just keep getting worse as a result, and now he’s going completely – and incoherently – off the deep end.

Trump clearly wants to run against Bernie Sanders, for reasons that are obvious to everyone outside Sanders’ base. Trump is so afraid of having to run against Joe Biden, he got himself impeached while trying to rig the election against Biden. Trump is also clearly intimidated by Mike Bloomberg, an actual billionaire, who has been running TV ads that don’t seem to be helping Bloomberg’s prospects very much but are definitely humiliating to Trump.

As a sign of just how spun around Trump is, as the Super Tuesday results were coming in this evening, he posted this tweet: “Mini Mike, don’t lick your dirty fingers. Both unsanitary and dangerous to others and yourself!” He then attached a video of Mike Bloomberg eating a donut and licking his fingers, which we’re not going to bother posting here, but you can go watch it yourself if you’re really inclined to punish yourself like that.

Mike Bloomberg is doing so poorly thus far in Super Tuesday results, his candidacy doesn’t even appear to be a threat to Donald Trump anymore. But Trump is obsessed with Bloomberg anyway. And now that Joe Biden is in the driver’s seat, it’s likely that Bloomberg will end up bankrolling TV ads for Biden in the general election. This is all Trump’s worst nightmare. No wonder he’s reduced to tweeting about Bloomberg licking his fingers.
