Donald Trump goes berserk after seeing George Conway in the courtroom
As Donald Trump has encountered various political figures in the courtroom over the past few weeks, there has been some question as to whether he’s recognized them. For instance Trump claimed earlier this week that he’d just spotted MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, and that he hadn’t seem him in “years.” But O’Donnell says that Trump also ran into him last week.
But Trump did appear to recognize George Conway when he encountered him in the courtroom earlier today. In fact it set Trump off in a particularly weird way. After spotting Conway, Trump made a point of having his social media handlers post a years-old photo of Conway at a Trump campaign event. Then reporter Tyler McBrien tweeted that he saw a Trump sidekick handing a photo to reporter Kaitlan Collins while appearing to say the name “Conway.”
So now we’ve got Trump attacking George Conway on social media, and having his people hand out photos of Conway to reporters in the courtroom, simply because Trump was that set off by Conway’s presence in the courtroom. This is as berserk as it is feeble.
