Donald Trump gives away that he’s worried about his sinking poll numbers
This far out from an election, the polls need to be taken with a rather large grain of salt. This is made worse by the increasing number of “junk polls” that are conducted with the specific intent of being wrong for partisan effect. It’s all made even worse by the fact that if nine polls come out all saying the same thing and one poll comes out saying the opposite, the media will pretend those nine polls don’t exist and solely hype the one “shock” poll in the name of ratings.
All that said, there has been an unmistakable trend of late in which President Biden’s poll numbers keep improving against Donald Trump. It’s funny how the media (on both sides) has stopped talking about the polls almost entirely, now that there are very few polls coming out that they can use to try to scare audiences into believing Trump is going to win.
Again, you may or may not put any stock at all in the polls at this point. But if you want a surefire sign that Donald Trump and his babysitters are worried about the polling shift in Biden’s direction, we just got precisely that.
Trump made a post on his social network today claiming that he’s doing better than his poll numbers say he is. In other words, as Trump’s poll numbers get worse, and as he notices that the media is no longer talking about how he’s doing well in the polls, Trump’s babysitters are keeping him sated by telling him that he’s surely doing better than his poll numbers.
It’s just sad that Trump has to be babied in this way. Then again, this is a guy who’s so senile that he’s sleeping through his own criminal trial, so what do you expect?
