Donald Trump gets dumped

I love the words “dump Trump.” They definitely have a certain ring to them. And dumping Trump is reportedly just what newsmax has done. For anyone unfamiliar with NewsMax — they are a far-right media company that makes Fox non-news look sane. Really!

And for years now, they have been the place where alt-right creeps go to get some warm fuzzies. Trump loves the station and has made numerous appearances on it. So have many far-right Republicans.

But something is shifting. The tides are turning. Because all of a sudden, newsmax appears rather lukewarm on Trump. This story will drive Donald Trump CRAZY. Newsmax appears, for now anyway, to have stopped airing Trump’s rallies. Or at least they did not air the latest one from Arizona.

This follows a familiar pattern for Trump as poll after poll shows his political popularity is falling. Even Fox isn’t mentioning him as much. So what does it all mean?

Well — it means that for Trump, it appears he isn’t “Teflon” anymore. Teflon is what many media outlets were happy to call him. But how can one be Teflon when more than half the country is repulsed at the very sight of you? And now it seems even his allies are bailing. This is just the latest. I expect others to follow.

The truth is Trump isn’t Teflon — he’s a contagion. He’s a contagion nobody wants to catch because he is making his party look terrible, which they are and people are becoming embarrassed by him.

So as Trump sits in exile, this news will likely produce a roar of rage from the banished traitor.

For someone who wants everyone to love and fear him, Trump certainly is managing to repel people into merely running from him in disgust. It couldn’t happen to a more deserving traitor.
