Donald Trump gets defensive about his worsening senility
Donald Trump’s senility has reached a point of severity where he doesn’t know who the current President is, confuses the people in his life for each other, doesn’t know what year or decade it is, and thinks that “Bigrant” and “Amaska” are real things.
It’s had to get this bad for Trump’s senility to finally become a headline story for the media. But now that it has, Trump is getting increasingly defensive about it:
Trump insists he’s not declining despite repeatedly slurring and stumbling his words, confusing who is currently president, forgetting the current day and time, and many more disturbing gaffes in recent weeks pic.twitter.com/w1DOEYGF5n

.
In reality, most people with dementia and similar diseases don’t know that they have it, and don’t believe it when they’re diagnosed. They don’t end up remembering the instances where they couldn’t remember anything, so during their more lucid moments they think they’re fine. Trump is arguing that if he had dementia he’d know it, but that doesn’t hold water.
At the rate Donald Trump is declining cognitively, it’s a matter of time before he gets so confused on stage that he starts taking his clothes off or something. Maybe then the media will stop claiming that he’s merely in “decline” and will instead admit that he’s fully senile.
