Donald Trump didn’t see this coming

Destiny is a funny thing. We have no looking glasses, no ability to look into the future and know exactly where we’ll be in a year, in two years, in five. This inability to see the future is, in part, a good thing. Do we really want to know every single thing, every single event — in advance? I think not.

In that regard, we have Donald Trump. I am sure, had he the ability to look into HIS future, he would not have believed it. After all, Trump deems himself untouchable, yes? Had he seen Jack Smith — Fani Willis — arrests and trials — he’d likely have laughed and called the looking glass, into which he gazed, an optical illusion, part of the “Deep State tricks.”

Only he’d have been wrong. The fact is Trump’s future came roaring into focus, melting into the present and becoming his destiny. “Dementia brain.” I am certain Trump wouldn’t have believed — because a narcissist CAN’T believe — that his name would be all over Twitter, as people tauntingly called him ‘Dementia brain.”

Trump also likely wouldn’t have believed his MENTAL ACUITY could EVER be called into question. However, that is precisely what is happening. The “dementia brain” comment comes from his confusing Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi.

“Dementia task force.”

Twitter is having a field day with this, as is his own site — Truth Social.

“Need to just retire.”

The comments came fast and furiously, burying Donald Trump under their mocking weight and ensuring he’d be the butt of virtually EVERY joke today.

“We can’t have this man in office.”

“serious mental health decline.”

Trump likely never saw THIS in his future. For the bully, however, there is nothing more shaming than when the crowd turns on the bully, and the bully becomes that which they had always mocked.

“Does Trump know what day it is?” These comments are all the result of Trump’s declining mental health. No, we have no looking glasses. However, in some — not all but some — cases, we can GUESS what the future will be. We can use the past to determine how the future will shape up.

And the fact is Trump’s past is full of gaffes. He’s been out of it for a long time, so this particular moment was not all that difficult to predict. It also is not hard to predict Trump’s white-hot rage at the fact that he is now not only the butt of many jokes but that he, for all intents and purposes, IS the joke.
