Donald Trump didn’t see THIS coming

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Here’s the part I’m still trying to figure out. Donald Trump’s interview with Bret Baier aired on Fox News in the 6pm EST block on Monday. Just two hours before the interviewer aired, Trump was hyping the interview on his social network, and urging people to watch. So Trump really must not have been expecting to face tough questions and fall apart for all to see, right?

But wait, it’s worse than that. This interview was prerecorded. We know this because Baier was posting still images of the interview on social media hours before it aired. This means that after Trump went and filmed the most disastrous interview of his life, he still went and promoted it on social media.

That’s right, Donald Trump thought this interview went well for him. He thought his embarrassingly incompetent answers were good. He wanted everyone to see this. That’s how you know he’s senile. Any cognitively competent person, after giving a performance this embarrassing, would be hoping people wouldn’t tune in.
