Donald Trump courthouse stunt backfires
Earlier I wrote about how Donald Trump’s Republican allies aren’t actually helping him by showing up and spewing nonsense outside the courthouse each day. None of it’s impacting the jury, and it’s not effective from a PR standpoint either.
Now it’s fair to say that these stunts are fully backfiring:

The problem with pulling the same unimaginative stunt like this over and over again is that pretty soon the other side figures out how to counter program it. Sure enough, anti-Trump protesters are now drowning out Trump’s allies’ attempt at spinning things. All it’s doing is revealing for the TV cameras that there are more anti-Trump people there than pro-Trump people.
