Donald Trump can’t stop talking about how he eats too much and weighs too much as he slips further into senility

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump has spent years lying about his weight, and getting other people to lie about his weight, as he’s tried to convince the public – and himself – that he’s perhaps a hundred pounds thinner than he is. It’s not surprising given his narcissism.

But the thing about senility is that it can cause people to forget what they care about, forget what they’re trying to hide, and forget to keep telling themselves the lies they’ve always relied on. Trump has reached a point of senility where he no longer even knows who the current President is, even as his handlers try to make excuses for it. But now Trump seems to have slipped so far that he’s forgotten how much he always wanted to pretend he’s a thin man.

Earlier this week media reports said that Trump had stopped eating after January 6th. Trump responded to this by announcing on social media that he had instead been eating too much. Now comes an incident in which Trump saw the courtroom artist’s sketch of him, realized how big he was, and admitted to the sketch artist that he needed to lose weight.

For a normal person who happens to be a big eater and/or overweight, it would be considered normal behavior to make light of it all. But Donald Trump is not a normal person. He’s a malignant narcissist who has a history of getting doctors to claim he’s a hundred pounds thinner than he is. But now he’s lost track of that part of his mind entirely, and he’s instead someone who talks about eating too much and being too heavy. This isn’t the same Donald Trump. At all. He already doesn’t seem to know where he’s at or what year it is. Now he’s losing track of who he even is. As his decline becomes more severe, his change in behavior wil only become more blatant.
