Donald Trump is completely falling to pieces in real time

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is the kind of psychologically fragile person who becomes President of the United States and still acts like an insecure loser. Over the past three years he’s created a lot of trouble for himself with his endless scandals and antics, but he hasn’t really had to face an external crisis that would require competent governing on his part – until now.

To give you an idea of how unprepared Donald Trump is to deal with the worsening coronavirus crisis, and the economy that’s tanking along with it, all you have to do is look at his unraveling behavior today. He spoke to the TV cameras and semi-incoherently appeared to claim that he’s a medical expert because his uncle was at MIT.

Then Trump said he’s leaving the Grand Princess cruise ship at sea, because he thinks that’ll mean that the Americans on board who are infected with coronavirus won’t count toward the coronavirus patient total in the United States. People are dying, and he’s worried about how people perceive numbers.

Donald Trump also called Washington Governor Jay Inslee a “snake” and appeared to assert that he won’t work with Inslee on the coronavirus outbreak in the state. Trump didn’t give a reason, but our guess is that Trump doesn’t like what Inslee said about him while he was a democratic primary candidate for president. Trump is falling apart by the minute – and the GOP Senate is complicit for refusing to remove him.
